Donation of veterinary vaccines against FMD by India to Algeria

On 13th November 2014, His Excellency Ambassador of India, Kuldeep Singh Bhardwaj, handed over symbolically the ceremonial box of veterinary vaccines to Mr. Feroukhi Foudil, Secretary General, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of People\'s Democratic Republic of Algeria. This marked the donation of 1 Million doses of monovalent vaccine against Foot and Mouth Disease of cattle donated by India in view of the outbreak of this disease in Algeria recently. This was followed by a joint press conference addressed by Ambassador Bhardwaj and Director General Veterinary Services of Algeria Dr. Boughalem Karim.
