Celebration of 75th Republic Day  (26 January 2024)

Members of the Indian Community and numerous Algerian citizens celebrated 75th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm in Algeria. More than 125 members of the Indian diaspora & friends of India participated in the celebration at the Embassy.

2. The event commenced with unfurling of the national flag Tiranga by Ambassador Shri Gaurav Ahluwalia which was followed by rendition of national anthem. Ambassador read out the excerpts from Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji's address to the Nation on the eve of the Republic Day .

3. Both Indian and Algerian nationals put together a short cultural programme of Indian songs and dances.

4. Indian refreshments were served at the end.
