Second India-Arab Cultural Festival in Algeria on 20.11.2014

The Second India-Arab Cultural Festival in Algeria will be inaugurated by HE Madame Nadia Labidi, Algerian Minister of Culture, on Thursday 20th November, 2014 at Palace of Culture, Ministry of Culture, Algiers at 1900 hrs.. India is participating with two cultural groups namely Sadhya and Sufi kathak, a food festival, Indian calligraphy, Quran recital, film shows, artisanal display and an exhibition on Islamic heritage. This festival will continue from 20 - 27 November in Algiers, Tlemcen, Annaba, Tipaza, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou, Ain Defla and Medea. Seven other Arab countries including Morocco, Mauritania, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Soudan and Somalia are participating in addition to Algeria in the festival.
