Republic Day Reception hosted by the Embassy on 26 January 2025

Embassy of India, Algiers hosted  a Reception on the occasion of 76th Republic Day of India on 26 January, 2025 at Palais de la Culture, Algiers. 

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Dr. Kamel Baddari, Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E. Mr. Youcef Cherfa, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries and H. E. Mr. Mohamed Redha Oussahla, Representative of Speaker of the Council of the Nation.

There was high ranking representation from the Algerian side including senior government officials. Over 300 guests including Diplomats, businessmen, Indian diaspora and media were present in the event.

The ceremonial part of the event was followed by cultural performance, display of highlights of Republic Day parade and videos about tourist attractions in India.  Curated dishes from Indian cuisine were served at the event.
