Celebration of 78th Independence Day (15 August 2024)

Embassy of India in Algeria celebrated 78th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm . More than 150 members of the Indian diaspora & friends of India participated in the celebration at the Chancery premises.

2. The event commenced with unfurling of the national flag by Cd’A which was followed by rendition of national anthem. Cd’A read out Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji's address to the Nation on the eve of the Independence Day .

3. Both Indian and Algerian nationals put together a short cultural programme comprising the performances on Indian patriotic songs and dance. Cd’A presented a token of appreciation to all the performers.

4. Indian refreshments were served at the end.
